2025 NET-ZERO-NEXT-GEN NSW ASSEMBL

The NetZeroNextGen 2025 will take place at the University of Sydney on 18 November 2025, co-hosted by the University of Sydney Net Zero Institute, and the  NSW Decarbonisation Hub. Continuing the conference series launched by UNSW’s School of Chemical Engineering in 2014, this one-day event will showcase the full spectrum of net-zero technologies and strategies, highlighting their impact on energy-sector emissions, environmental and human health outcomes, and the safe reduction or removal strategies. 

This event will specifically serve as a vibrant forum for Early- to Mid- career researchers to engage with academics and industry, driving net-zero research and technology. Participants will share the latest advances in materials, systems, and technologies that propel the net-zero transition while embracing the opportunity to engage with these experts to discuss the career challenges and opportunities .
