Join us for the 2026 Early-to-Mid Career Researcher Conference

This national conference is committed to championing and elevating the next generation of academics and researchers. It recognises outstanding research contributions, offers a space for cutting edge discussions and researcher development through expert-led workshops, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities with peers, senior academics, and industry professionals.

In 2026, the Early-to-Mid Career Researcher Conference will be held at the University of Wollongong (Wollongong Campus). The conference includes three sub-themes:  

• Sub-theme 1:  Human, Environmental and Biological Health
• Sub-theme 2: Education, Policy and Social Transformation
• Sub-theme 3: Infrastructure, Energy and Sustainable Futures

Early-career and mid-career researchers and academics from all Australian institutions are invited to come along and participate in the conference.

Early Bird registration opens on Wednesday June 17th and closes Monday 21st September. Register for all three days or for a single day.
