Prof Thabatta M. A. de Araújo

Control and Automation Engineer with a PhD in Computing Applied. Professor in the Department of Computing at CEFET-MG. She coordinates the Technical Program in Informatics and leads initiatives such as the Padawoman project, funded by FAPEMIG, to increase women’s participation in STEAM, and ProRobot, which promotes robotics education and computational thinking. Her research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT). She develops intelligent, low-cost technologies that solve real-world challenges. In 2025, she joined the WREN Brazil subcommittee to pursue research partnerships and international cooperation. Her goal is to bridge research, education, and social impact through technological innovation.
